Atthispointwehavetoclarifysomethingcrucial.DienachisthoughttohavesufferedfromEncephalitislethargica,astrangeneurologicaldiseasethatdevelopsanimmunesystemresponsetooverloadedneurons.ThefirsttimeDienachfellintoalethargicsleepitwasfor15minutes.Thesecondtimeitwasforawholeyear…

Onceherecoveredfromhiscoma,Dienachdidn'ttalktoanyoneabouthisremarkableexperiencebecausehethoughthewouldbeconsideredcrazy.However,whathediddowaswritedowntheentiretyofhismemoryrelatingtowhathehadseenofthefuture.Towardstheendofhislife,heevenstoppedhisteachingjobinordertohaveasmuchtimeaspossibletowriteeverythinghecouldremember.

Dienachdescribeseverythingheexperiencedoftheenvironmentandpeopleoftheyear3906AD,accordingtothemind-setandlimitedknowledgeofa20thcenturyman.ThiswasnotaneasytaskforDienach.Thereweremanythingsheclaimsnottohaveunderstoodaboutwhathesaw,norwashefamiliarwithalltheirterms,technology,ortheevolutionarypaththeyhadfollowed.

Inhismemoires,heclaimsthatthepeopleofthefuturefullyunderstoodhispeculiarmedicalsituation,whichtheycalled"consciousslide",andtheytoldDienachasmanythingsastheycouldinrelationtothehistoricaleventsthattookplacebetweenthe21stand40thcentury.Theonlythingtheydidn'ttellhimwastheexactstoryofthe20thcentury,incaseDienach’sconsciousnessreturnedbacktohisoriginalbodyandera(ashedid)–theybelieveditwouldbedangeroustolethimknowhisimmediatefutureandthefutureofhiseraincaseitdisturbedoralteredthepathofhistoryandhislife.

Manymaywonder–whathappenedtothediaryinallthattime,fromthedistantyearof1926untilnow,almostacenturylater?

GeorgePapachatzisgraduallytranslatedDienach'snotes–withhisnotsoperfectGerman–overaperiodof14years(1926-1940),mostlyinhissparetimeandsummerbreaks.WorldWarIIandtheGreekcivilwardelayedhiseffortsofspreadingtheamazingstorythatlandedonhisdeskallthoseyearsago.

OntheEveofChristmasin1944,PapachatziswasstayingwithfriendsatahousewhichwasalsousedoccupiedbytheGreekArmy.WhenthesoldierscaughtsightofDienach’snotes,whichwereofcourseinGerman,theyconfiscatedthembecausetheyconsideredthemsuspicious.TheytoldPapachatzisthattheywouldreturnthemonlyaftertheyhadexaminedtheircontents.Theyneverdid.Butbythen,Papachatzishadalreadyfinishedthetranslation.

GeorgePapachatzistriedtotrackdowninformationaboutDienach,byvisitingZurich12timesbetween1952and1966.Hecouldnotfindasingletraceofhim,noranyrelatives,neighbours,orfriends.Dienach,whoisthoughttohavefoughtwiththeGermansduringWorldWarI,probablynevergavehisrealnameinGreece,acountrythathadfoughtagainsttheGermans.

AftertheendofWorldWarIIandtheGreekCivilWar,Papachatzisgavethetranslateddiarytosomeofhisfriends–masons,theosophists,professorsoftheologyandtwoanti-NaziGermans–andafterthat,wheneverybodyrealizedwhattheyhadintheirhands,thediarywaskeptwithinaclosephilosophicalcircleandintheTectonicLodge,inwhichhewasamember.ThebookwastakenveryseriouslybytheMasons,whodidnotwanttheinformationspreadtoalargercircle.Theyconsideredthebooktobealmostholy,containingwisdomaboutthefutureofhumanity,andbetterkeptonlyforthefew.

Finally,afterstrongdisputes,GeorgePapachatzisdecidedtopublishDienach'sDiary.ItwasduringtheperiodthatGreeceenteredthehardestphaseofthe7yeardictatorshipin1972.Strongprotestfromcertainchurchcircles–whoconsideredthebookheretic–andthefallofthedictatorshipayearlater,condemnedthefirsteditiontooblivion.Noonewasinterestedinthefuturewhenthepresentwassointenseandviolent.

Anothereditionfollowedin1979inGreecetitled“TheValleyoftheRoses”.However,againthebookdisappearedanditwashardlymentionedagain,apartfromthefewthatknewofitsexistence.

Afterallthesilence,Papachatzisdied,andhisfamilydidnotwishtocarryonwithhiswork.

TwentytwoyearspassedbeforethediarywaspickedupagainbytheindependentpublisherRadamanthisAnastasakis,whodecidedtopublishthebookonasmallscale,exactlyasitwaspreviouslywritten.

That'swhenIdiscoveredthebookforthefirsttimeandstartedto"restore"it,withoutthesentimentalitiesthatkeptPapachatzisfromdoingsomethingmorethananexacttranslationofthe‘holy’scriptsofhisteacher.Almostacenturyaftertheoriginalscriptwaswritten,thiswasataskthathadtobeundertakensothata21stcenturyreadercouldreallyunderstandwhata20thcenturymanwantedtosay.

AndsoIdidit,makingsurenottochangeanyofthecontent,butfilteringoutirrelevantnotespertainingtoDienach’searlylifeandemphasizinghisexperienceofthefuture,butinasimplerlanguageandwithoutthegapsthatDienach’snarrationhad.

Ihavetriedtokeepthetrueessenceofhisstoryintact.ThiswasmydebttoDienach,whosechroniclesfromthefuturecompletelychangedmyperspectiveoflife.Nothingmore,nothingless.Myonlygoalwastomakeitaccessibletoallofyou,becauseifDienach’sexperiencewasindeedreal,thisbookcontainsrevolutionaryinformation–somethingtheMasonsclearlyrecognized–andhasthepotentialtoradicallychangeyourviewoftheworldandmankind.

Nowthatyouknowthebackgroundtothisuniquestory,Iwillsimplydepositthefutureinyourhandswithanabstractfromtheintroductionofthe1979editionofthebookbyGeorgePapachatzis,themanwhopersonallyknewDienach:
