在前200名榜单中，中国科学技术大学排在并列第80名，较去年上升13位。上海交通大学排在并列第157名，较去年上升32位。

此外，中国香港地区的香港大学排在第35名，而中国台湾地区高校却无缘榜单top100，排名最靠前的台湾大学与阿德莱德大学并列120名。

日本方面，东京大学排名最靠前，上升至第36名。日本高校在教学与研究方面表现优异，但与其他排名靠前的亚洲院校相比，在国际化程度上略逊一筹。韩国有两所院校进入榜单前100，分别是首尔大学（第64名）和成均馆大学（第89名）。
