Sometimeswedon’teventakethefirststepbecauseourdreams,goals,anddesiresseemsooverwhelming,sointimidating,andsounachievablethatwegiveupbeforeweevenstart.Maybewejustneedtotryadifferentstrategy.I’mremindedofthepopularsaying,“Lifeisamarathon,notasprint.”Thatsamephilosophycanbeappliedwhenwe’reattemptingtomakechangesinourlives:it’strueofcareeradvancementorbuildingabusiness,educationalgoals,weightlossorfitness,organization,habits,andcertainlywhentryingtobuildorchangerelationships.
