作为第十一届全国少数民族传统体育运动会的首个重要活动，火种采集仪式暨互联网火炬传递启动仪式5月8日上午在登封市告成镇观星台举行。

火炬传递代表着一种体育精神，历来被大型运动会赛事承办方视为向世人展示综合实力和文化气质的良机。

火种采集仪式共有三个主要环节：火种采集、现场传递和启动互联网火炬传递。

ThelighterfirstlitthetorchandthenpassedonthetorchonthespotinDengfengObservatory.Zhengzhou-borncelebrities–ShiYigong,formervicepresidentofTsinghuaUniversity,academicianofChineseAcademyofSciencesandpresidentofWestlakeUniversity,andHaiXia,famousCCTVanchor,werethefirstandsecondtorchbearer.

经过火种采集使者采出火焰后，进行现场的火炬传递，两位郑州老乡——清华大学原副校长、中国科学院院士、西湖大学校长施一公和央视著名主持人海霞，来到仪式现场担任第一棒、第二棒火炬手。

IntheInternetTorchRelayLaunchingCeremony,“ZhongZhong”,a3DvirtualmascotonLEDdisplay,tookthetorchfromHaiXia,markingthestartoftheinternettorchrelaywhichwilllasttilltheopeningoftheNationalTraditionalGamesonSep.8whenthemaintorchwillbelitinOlympicSportsCenter.

在启动互联网火炬传递仪式上，第二棒火炬手海霞和LED大屏里面三维虚拟的吉祥物“中中”完成火炬虚拟接力，互联网火炬传递开始，整个传递过程将持续到9月8日运动会开幕，届时将点燃郑州奥体中心的主火炬。

互联网火炬传递期间，全国广大群众都可以扫描二维码，进入火炬传递小程序进行网上传递，完成后可以分享到微信群。另外，执委会大型活动部火炬传递组还设计了抽奖机制，吸引更多的人参与到这个互动游戏中来。

仪式上，来自全国各地的56位各民族少年儿童，身着各民族传统服装，合唱全国民族运动会主题歌《爱我中华》，以及根据传统民谣改编的《二十四节气歌》。这也是全国民族运动会历史上第一次由各民族小歌手组成合唱团。

本届全国民族运动会火炬“心向”采用喜庆的中国红，代表了河南的热情与激情。火炬元素以及本届民族运动会会徽元素的融合，将河南源远流长的千年文明与现代时尚进行了完美结合。火炬整体色调源自会徽，画面中左龙右凤的底纹，呼应会徽“龙凤呈祥”的寓意。中间橙色飘带是火炬整体造型——飞扬的旗帜，也是“郑州”二字拼音首字母“ZZ”的变形，象征着火炬传递的活力与激情。
